Meet Nakota. A young boy who is sick in the hospital and trying to write the greatest story ever. One day, Grandpa Rocko comes over for a visit. Next thing Nakota knows, he is whisked away into a world of stories that are right below his feet. Within the land. This show explores the interplay between stories of the present against the long forgotten stories of the past. Rocko and Nakota: Tales From The Land is written and performed by Josh Languedoc and is part of Gwaandak Theatre’s Fifth Annual Awaken Festival. **Saturday Evening Performance (April 20th) includes Post-Show Talkback / ASL Interpretation is available by request only. Email rebecca@gwaandaktheatre.ca no later than Friday, April 12th at 5PM to request ASL Interpretation.
***Sunday Matinee (April 21st) includes Post-Show Tea / Alcohol-Free Showing. Masks are encouraged. All details are accurate at the time of print & are subject to change.
