Café des Voix Gets Show-y!!! An evening of songs from musical theatre!
With ‘Round Back located behind the Guild Hall, Whitehorse’s long-time home for community theatre,what could be more appropriate than an evening of songs from musicals?! Café des Voix focuses onjazz repertoire and over the years, many jazz standards have emerged from musical theatre. Each ofour singers for July 8th at ‘Round Back was invited to present a song or 2 or 3 from Broadway or a filmmusical... we know you’re going to enjoy the result! Singers featured at this event include CarolineWatt, James McCullough, Nicole Bauberger, Gary Lachance, Lynda Reeve, MC/vocalist Elaine Schimanand pianist Annie Avery. Annie and bassist Anne Turner will round out the evening with their gorgeousaccompaniments!
Café des Voix is performing as part of The Guild Hall’s ‘Round Back series, running July 6 to August 5. Doors at 7:30pm, Concert at 8pm. Cash Bar. For more information, please visit guildhall.ca
