Pianist/composer Sharon Minemoto's Quartet are in their 10th year of making music together. Her memorable compositions are influenced by a wide range of composers such as Herbie Hancock, Kenny Wheeler, Stevie Wonder and Alexander Scriabin. The quartet has been performing music from their most recent album, "Safe Travels" across Canada over the past two years. For the Shadbolt concert, they will perform some newer original music by Minemoto as well as from "Safe Travels".

“Minemoto is a swinging, sensitive pianist with a highly melodic style and a composer of some very hip original music.” ~ Coastal Jazz & Blues, B.C.

Sharon Minemoto - piano, Jon Bentley - tenor saxophone, Darren Radtke - bass, Bernie Arai - drums
