Erica Mah is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter based in Whitehorse. “Landlocked” is her first Yukon-made album, recorded this fall with Jordy Walker. It is an acoustic folk album, full of thoughtful lyrics, finger-picked guitar, warm cello, violin, and gentle vocal harmonies. This special concert will feature Darcy McCord on cello and Alana Martinson on violin.

Ryan McCord is a staple of the Old Town Yellowknife music scene. Over the years he has played with several bands, including The Dawgwoods, the Back Bay Scratchers, Bluebird Island, and the Old Town Mondays. His solo work combines the romance of train hopping, the coziness of a Yellowknife shack and the crackle of an old country record on the stereo. His songs are sometimes true, sometimes made up, and sometimes made for two-stepping.
