Performance Notes
The Yukon Arts Centre is bringing up the popular Canadian entertainer Danny Michel as part of its Yukoner Appreciation event on November 2. We want to thank Yukoners for supporting us all these years by offering tickets to the show at the very low price of $10. The event will also be catered by NVD and each person will get one free beverage of their choice. So be sure to come as of 5pm to enjoy the food and the socializing!
The main gallery will also be open with Yukon artists Leslie Leong and Lillian Loponen on hand to talk about their exhibits.
Danny Michel’s thoughtful lyrics and charming performances have earned a devoted fan base, multiple nominations for Junos, The Polaris Prize, CBC’s "Heart Of Gold", and most recently winning the CFMA's "Producer of the Year" and "Oliver Schroder Pushing the Boundaries" Awards.
Danny has traveled to Belize to collaborate on an album, performed for Jane Goodall’s 85th birthday party and went to the Canadian High Arctic to record an album aboard a Russian ice-breaker.
“When you need to restore your faith in humanity, just go to a Danny Michel show. Who else gets you to sing along to a song about what your meaningful purpose is on this earth?” - STICKY MAG, TORONTO
