Rise ‘n Shine is Brandon Isaak's brand new recording. An album true to form with all new material that delves into the depths of love, loss, life and death. Retro, raw & real with a refreshing modern undertone. Follows the 2018 Juno nomination for Blues Recording of the Year, “Big City, Back Country Blues.”

On the album Brandon is accompanied by impressive guest musicians and longtime friends, the likes of Willie Mac and Jack Lavin from The Powder Blues Band, David “Hurricane” Hoerl of The Twisters and Big Daddy himself “Eddy Boy” Isaak just to name a few who join him on this blues romp. All together this new album is quite different from that of his previous two solo CDs… It brings to the table a real full band sound that features organs, horns, keys and heavy rhythm section that sets up a real blues driven ride to remember.

For the Whitehorse CD release, Brandon is joined by legendary Yukon drummer Mr. Lonnie Powell and stellar, in demand bassist Paul Bergman. Co-presented by Jazz Yukon.

"Brandon Isaak is unquestionably a superstar in the making, playing with tone and imagination." - John Taylor, Canadian Blues

"Brandon Isaak is a one man band playing a foot operated drum kit, neck rack harmonica, guitar and vocals. His original blues songs ring with authenticity and wit and his singing, guitar and harmonica playing are the living spirit of the best of the blues today! I consider Brandon to be a national treasure!” - Jack Lavin – “Powder Blues”
