CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud is coming to Whitehorse for a live recording.

Host Ali Hassan is bringing some incredibly funny comedians with him. He'll have 2018 Juno-award winner for Best Comedy Album Ivan Decker (Just for Laughs, CBC's The Debaters, Conan), Juno nominee Charlie Demers (The Debaters, This Is That, Netflix's Beat Bugs), Celeste Lampa (Yuk Yuks, SheDot Comedy Festival, The Grindstone Comedy Festival), Malik Elassal (CBC Gem's New Wave of Comedy, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs), and more. He'll also feature a couple of local comedians. Join the live theatre audience for a night of laughter as Ali Hassan records new episodes of CBC Radio's hit stand-up comedy show.

Lineup Ivan Decker won the 2018 Juno Award for Best Comedy Album, he’s a regular on CBC Radio's The Debaters, and appeared on Conan with Conan O’Brien. Charlie Demers is a Juno-nominated stand-up and a regular fan favourite on CBC Radio’s The Debaters. Celeste Lampa is a stand-up comedian based in Edmonton, Alberta, who’s a hard-working suburban mom by day, and by night, she’s still a hard-working suburban mom. As a comedian, she’s performed all over Canada and recently recorded with “Just for Laughs Originals”. Malik Elassal is an Lebanese-Canadian actor, writer, and comedian, who won Top Comic in his home city of Calgary, recorded his comedy for CBC Television at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and New Wave of Standup. Emilie Lefrançois is a teacher by day, comedian by night. She started in comedy in Toronto, before moving to Whitehorse where she's become a regular in the Yukon comedy scene. She's recently opened for Brent Butt at the Yukon Arts Centre.
