Following the current Yukon Government COVID-19 restrictions that have been lifted, the YAC Mainstage will operate at 100% capacity for this event. Social distancing ‘bubbles’ are not in place and other members of the public may be seated next to you. Mask use is recommended.
Three-time Juno and four-time Canadian Folk Music Award Nominated Artist Ginalina is bringing her strummy, plinky, and plucky Folk Trio to the Yukon Arts Centre! Come experience the joy, fun, and wonder of interactive songs and a playful concert storyline that celebrates family, friendships, nature, and the community we share. Guitar, banjo, upright bass, and giant dance-alongs and sing-alongs will inspire the child in all of us, and fill everybody with laughter, warmth, confidence, and a sense of belonging. This performance is welcome to all. Languages used are English, with some French and Mandarin.
Ginalina is well-known for her CBC featured song, Small But MIghty. In 2019, she worked with Whitehorse students from The Heart of Riverdale Community Centre to film Shine Like the Northern Lights.
