Jazz on the Wing – B.C.’s Sharon MInemoto Quartet

“Minemoto is a swinging, sensitive pianist with a highly melodic style and a composer of some very hip original music.”  ​~ Coastal Jazz & Blues

Pianist/composer Sharon Minemoto's Quartet are in their 10th year of making music together performing her original compositions and arrangements. . Her memorable compositions are influenced by a wide range of international renowned composers such as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and Alexander Scriabin including studying with Renee Rosnes and Kenny Wheeler in New York. The quartet has been performing music from their most recent album, "Safe Travels" across Canada over the past two years along with some newer original music by Minemoto.
